Virtual Financial Reality Fair – Interactive Budgeting  |  Webinar
Wednesday, August 25, 2021

A Financial Reality Fair is a fun, interactive financial literacy program to teach budgeting skills. This program gives students the opportunity to experience real life financial challenges that they will face as they become adults. Students choose a career and are given a starting salary. They must complete a budget sheet to live within their means, while paying for everyday costs such as housing, utilities, transportation, clothing, food, and even child care.

Who should attend: High School Students and First-Time Budgeters

Kathy Morris, Hawaii State FCU’s Financial Educator

Kathy is a certified credit union financial counselor with extensive experience in financial education and business development, having most recently served as Program Director for the Financial Reality Foundation, an organization which partners with credit unions in Alaska and Hawaii to bring financial education fairs and activities to schools. Kathy is excited for the opportunity to share her financial knowledge with our members and the community.
