Branch Closures and Hours

In an effort to minimize the health and safety risks to our members and employees and ensure appropriate staffing to serve members, the following branch locations and hours have been modified.

As of March 30, 2020:
The following branches are CLOSED until further notice:
• Halekauwila Branch
• Ewa Beach Branch (vestibule available only)
• Hawaii Kai Branch
• Salt Lake Branch
• Pearlridge Branch (vestibule available only; safe deposit boxes available by appointment)

The following branches remain OPEN with extended hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Kaimuki Branch
• Kaneohe Branch
• Kapolei Branch
• Mililani Branch

Kahului Branch (Maui) remains OPEN during normal business hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

During this time, shared branching is available only to Hawaii State FCU members. We encourage members to go online to open new accounts or apply for a loan. Should a visit to the branch be necessary, we require services such as new accounts, loans, investments, wire transfers, safe deposit box and notary be by appointment only.

Dear Members,

Hawaii State FCU is committed to serving our members and our community. As we face this global pandemic, I want to assure you that our top priority is to protect the health and safety of all our employees and members. We are closely monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 to our Island community and will continue to safely and appropriately maintain the financial services you need.

Caring for Employees and Members.
To help minimize the spread of illness in our workplace, we have instructed employees who are able to work from home to work from home and have advised anyone who is feeling ill to not come in to work. We continue to follow guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Hawaii State Department of Heath for hygiene, sanitization and social distancing best practices in all of our office and branch locations.

We are here to serve you.
In order to maintain appropriate staffing to keep our services available to members, we will close some of our branch locations and adjust hours at open locations so that we can be open 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) with longer hours on Saturday for your convenience.

We ask that members help our effort to minimize face-to-face interaction and practice social distancing in the branch. You can also connect with us online to do many transactions 24/7 through Online Banking or our Hawaii State FCU Mobile App. Should you need to speak with a representative, our Member Service Call Center remains available at (808) 587-2700 or toll-free 1 (888) 586-1056.

At Hawaii State FCU, health and safety of our members and employees is our priority. In light of the recent developments regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), we remain committed to doing our part to remain proactive in our efforts to minimize the risk of spreading illness. In addition to frequently sanitizing work spaces and member service areas, we are also asking for everyone’s help to follow best practices to stop the spread of germs, especially to protect those in our community who are most vulnerable:

If you answer YES to or are exhibiting any of the symptoms below, we ask that you please avoid visiting a branch location:

• Fever of 100+ degrees in the past 24 hours (measured without fever-reducing medication)
• Onset of flu-like symptoms in the past five days
• Any out-of-state travel in the past 14 days
• Been on a cruise ship in the past 14 days
• Had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the past 14 days

Preventative Tips to Stay Healthy

There are everyday actions you can perform to defend against viruses and minimize the risk of illness to our community members who are most vulnerable such as seniors and those with compromised immune systems. For additional resources and tips, visit


• Stay home when you are sick.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household clean spray or wipe.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing).

• If soap and water aren’t available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
