Safe and secure. Quick and convenient. Plus, instant access with a wave of your palm!

Our first-in-the-state Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) offer our members industry-leading technology to make managing finances easier than ever before. ITMs combine the services of a teller with the convenience of an ATM. These intuitive machines allow you to easily access all of your Hawaii State FCU account information in one place, making them ideal to handle all of your basic banking transactions including funds transfers, loan and credit card payments, and more. Deposits and withdrawals have never been easier, as ITMs can accept deposits of up to 200 bills or 50 checks at one time. You can even withdraw mixed denominations!

Coupled with our state-of-the-art ITMs, our palm vein biometric authentication scanner offers members a highly-secure way to access their accounts. Contrary to popular belief, these palm scanners do not retain an image of your palm or fingerprints, but rather use the unique vein patterns and blood flow in your hand to identify you. The intricate vein patterns in your hand are so unique, that this type of authentication is considered more accurate than using fingerprints and faster than an iris scan.

Best of all, registering for palm vein authentication means you no longer have to fumble through your purse or pockets looking for your identification. Simply visit one of our ITMs, hold your hand over the scanner, and you’re in! Touchless, quick and secure access to your accounts, with just a wave of your palm.

Most Hawaii State FCU locations, including all of our Safeway branches, have ITMs with palm vein scanners. Future plans are to expand ITM availability to all branches in the near future.

ITMs are available during regular branch hours at:
•  Ali‘i Branch
•  Ewa Beach Branch
•  Headquarters Branch (Queen Street)
•  Kahului Branch
•  Pearlridge Branch
•  Salt Lake Branch
•  Hawaii Kai Branch at Safeway
•  Kapahulu Branch at Safeway
•  Kihei Branch at Safeway

Want to try out an ITM, but don’t know what to do? We always have member representatives at our ITM locations who are ready to answer any questions and assist you with your transactions. Excited about using your palm to access accounts? Visit a branch and talk to a representative to register today.

Offering our members the best in technology and security – it’s just one of the ways that Hawaii State FCU is always right by you.
