Scholarship Program

Since 1996, we've awarded over $1 million to support Hawaii’s brightest students in pursuing higher education.

The portal to submit applications is now closed. The 20 lucky recipients will be announced in the summer. Stay tuned!

Required Materials

  • Most Recent Unofficial Transcript
  • 2026-2027 FAFSA Financial Summary (FSS)
  • List of Achievements and Community Service
  • Letters of Recommendation (optional)

Eligibility​

  • Open to Hawaii State FCU members and their dependents
  • Must attend a fully accredited university, college or trade/vocational school in the 2026-2027 school year
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Must attend as a full or part-time student (as determined by your school’s financial aid office)
  • May apply as an Undergraduate or Graduate degree-seeking student
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
